The Kilo (pronounced Key-Low this time) is a multimedia PC ideal for the digital home, while it can also be configured as a superior office PC, or a mid-range gaming PC. With the base price you get an AMD Athlon II X3 triple-core processor and premium Radeon HD 4250 onboard graphics which delivers smooth 1080p movie playback, and crisp DVD resolution gaming. As a mini-tower the emphasis is on putting current technology into a more affordable Windows 7 computer. If you configure it with an add-in graphics card you can play the latest games nicely with it. While you could play The Sims 3 or certain strategy games or certain older hit titles with the onboard graphics, with today's hit action games having an actual graphics card would work monumentally better. Unlike off-the-shelf mini-tower PCs the Kilo is upgradeable should your needs in a PC grow in the future. You can in fact work with a lower budget now, and improve the PC either through KillaRad or on your own as your budget allows. Now not everybody wants to mess with computer hardware, but one thing enthusiasts and gamers like is capability, and the Kilo gives that to you. Additionally unlike many mini-tower systems this can fit a full length high end graphics card for premium gaming.
The Kilo includes Windows 7 Home Premium, bringing you evolved Windows operating system technology with new enhancements designed to improve how you use your computer. It builds on Windows Vista's newer features like built-in quick system-wide searching right on the Start Menu, and the slick Aero 3D interface. With Windows Media Center which is included, you can add a TV tuner card and a remote control to turn your PC into a DVR. Windows 7 has a new feature where you can easily shrink a video file down so it will fit on a portable media player such as the Microsoft Zune HD or a Windows Phone. Windows 7 takes advantage of the built-in ATI GPU to speed up this process like nothing else before, allowing you to take videos with you on the go much more simply.
